So much hard work and scheduling goes into planning a wedding. Buying a dress or suit, picking a caterer and venue, buying invitations, booking hair and makeup artists... the list goes on. Once the day arrives and the party goes down just as planned, the last of the guests leave, the band is gone, the beer and wine bottles are empty, the gown is packed up and the tux has been returned, the one thing you will be able to look back on time and time again, for years to come, are the photographs that tell the story of your special day.
Memories live in photographs. Photographs help memories last forever.

Every wedding is different. Different styles, venues, cities and people that make shooting photos a new experience every time. There are always a handful of frames that stick out because of the perfect timing, the expression on a face or just beautiful light. This is a collection of some of our favorite moments.
Kirsten + Dave
Vintage Hollywood was the theme for Kirsten and Dave's wedding. The ceremony took place in a theatre at Rainbow Cinemas, where guests were treated to a one of kind experience with fold down chairs, drink holders and the intoxicating aroma of movie theatre popcorn! We took photos in the theatre after the ceremony and in the surrounding area of Market Square. Simply a great idea for a wedding and fun day to get creative with photos.
Kristen + Christian
"Hi Jesse. Would you be able to fly down to Mexico in the middle of a winter to take pictures of our wedding?" You better believe I can! Obviously a wedding on a beach in a tropical climate is going to be beautiful but the best part of the wedding aside from the beautiful setting was spending time with the happiest and friendly couple around along with getting to know their wonderful friends and family. A great week all around!
Monica + Roger
A winter wedding in Manitoba? Why not?! Photos outside in late January? Not a problem! Monica and Roger had an small but elegant ceremony at Bridges Golf Course followed by a cocktail reception. We took photos before the ceremony at a nearby park and a friend's farm. It was chilly to say the least! What you won't see in the photos are the giant parkas laying on the ground just outside the frame.
Shanda + Darin
It can be difficult sometimes to photograph a large group of people but when the wedding party is as much fun as Shanda and Darin's, it makes it a breeze and a ton of fun! We took photos all over downtown and since Darin is a firefighter we took a few snaps at a local fire hall. The reception was a great time filled with plenty of laughs, good times and a some great dancing!
Lisa + Darren
I met up with Lisa and her bridal party as they were getting their hair done and since the salon was so big and open, I was able to get some pretty interesting shots. We arrived for the reception along with the wedding party early and went to shooting some urban street photos but the real treat was photographing in the venue which was a beautiful old bank. The photos turned out fantastic and the party went on into the wee hours.
Erin + Dave
Erin and Dave are both phenomenal freestyle skiers and we met when I worked at a ski and snowboard shop in my younger days. When they asked me to fly back to Winnipeg to photograph their wedding I knew it would be good times. We took photos at the Manitoba Legislative Building which provided a stunning backdrop for our photos along with a walk through Winnipeg's Exchange District for some grittier urban shots.
Heather + Rori
I spent the morning with Rori and his groomsmen and had the opportunity to taste the best scotch I've ever had! As for the wedding, you couldn't have asked for a nicer day. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the outdoor ceremony was perfect. We took photos in a beautiful garden setting and the speeches by the wedding party still make me laugh every time I look back on the photos. A truly memorable day.
Jessica + Shawn
Jessica and Shawn met while Shawn was playing hockey in Las Vegas so it was fitting that we took some of the photos at the rink where he grew up playing hockey as little guy. Their reception took place at a golf course and we were able to slip out of the party to take a few photos on the course in the late afternoon light. An evening full of hilarious speeches and stellar dance moves made this an night to remember.
Nicole + Shaun
I grew up with Shaun in a small town in southern Manitoba so when he called and told me he was getting married at a baseball stadium the first thing I said was "Where?!" followed quickly by "Hell yeah I'll take your photos!" Nicole and Shaun met while playing slo-pitch together so it was fitting that their wedding take place at Winnipeg's Shaw Park. The ceremony was one of a kind and the party was as well!
Dominique + Derrick
Often times it can be difficult photographing inside a church. It's very quiet, the lighting isn't very flattering and you have to respect and follow the rules of the priest all the while trying to stay out of the way and let the spotlight shine on the couple getting married. Photos during Dominique and Derrick's ceremony were amazing! The time of day was perfect, allowing the church to be bathed in beautiful golden sunlight. Stunning.
